The second amendment states allows people to have the right to keep and bear arms, and as an individual, I stand on the conservative side to do so, rather than a liberal thinker, who believes in authorities being the only ones to bear arms and protect individuals. As a conservative agreeing on the right to bear arms, this will protect people from situations that the police will not be in time to protect them from, and defending yourself. Firearms raises many questions and debateable conversations, which are one of the many topics of discussion in political conversations, regarding the crime rate that goes on in American. As liberal thinkers believe guns are the main purpose of crimes, they also believe having guns will not limit the amount of violence that goes on in America, and that guns will not prevent criminals who were previously convicted, will not obtain them to stop gun violence.
