There has been a recent debate in my 9th grade Language Arts class as to whether or not everyone should should go to college. It is my opinion to say; No, not everyone should go to college. Firstly, not everyone can pay for college. “The average cost for a public college is $23,410. And for a private college it is $46,272”, States www.collegedata.org. If someone with a low income were to apply for financial aid, they’d be in serious debt and could have future hardships.
Secondly, if everyone were to go to college the classes would be too large. “Monstrous classes are unavoidable”, Claims Associated Press. With large classes not everyone will get the attention need and some students could be tuned out. This may cause them to be unsuccessful
