There is a controversy amongst different people whether Euthanasia should be legalized or not. Euthanasia is legal in the states of Washington, Oregon, Montana, Vermont and New Mexico. Terminally ill patients describe their pains as burning, piercing, pinching, aching, aching, tingling, throbbing, stabbing, sharp, and dull. In my opinion, terminally ill patients should have the right to die in order to end those pains.
Euthanasia is the act of killing someone painlessly, which in effect relieves suffering from an incurable illness. It is also called mercy killing; moreover, in English, it means "good death”. To concentrate, the origin of the word comes from the Greek language. Usually, the machines that support life are taken away from the patient. The main question is who decides at what moment euthanasia should occur? Euthanasia laws differ from one country to another, some countries believe that everyone has the right to decide when to put an end to their life, and in some other countries it is just forbidden. Albania, Belgium, Netherlands, Oregon, Switzerland and Luxembourg have legalized euthanasia. Although some countries consider the practice to be illegal, they do not penalize people who actually do it. Euthanasia is a divisive topic amongst people. When it comes to the doctors’ role in euthanasia, they do not believe in euthanasia because each doctor has sworn an oath that they will never on purpose bring harm to the patients, or will intentionally kill any of…
