Imagine being surrounded by your family and planning out your funeral day? Well as this is a controversial topic, I believe that Euthanasia should be legalized because of many reasons. Euthanasia is a big topic to talk about, not many people would talk about this topic because of the fact that it 's a big deal. Many people have been living off of machine there whole life and know that 's how it 's going to be for the rest of their life and their loved ones watch them suffer every single day. There are many reason why it should be legalized, because of the fact that people have the rights to choose if they want to die or not. Many people say that they want to live a peaceful death, but not many actually do die off a peaceful death. So people should have the right to end their life and not suffer and actually live the peaceful death they wanted. According to articles "Over 90% of people with terminal illness will endure their situation, but between 5-10% find it intolerable and request euthanasia.. I understand that there 's many people who would want this to be legalized because of the fact that there hating their lives and just want to end it like that. But no euthanasia should be legalized for one reason only and that reason is the people that actually need it. Such as the people that live off of machines and that’s how they 're going to live for the rest of their life. Also when a doctor tells a patient that they have a certain amount of day/months to live. But the people that actually need it are the people that are suffering with severe illnesses such as cancer and many more. People don’t want this legalized because they think people would cheat the system. But no there 's many ways to stop that. Such as being very strict with the law and actually do test to make sure they 're not faking a illness. If people are caught trying to cheat the system there 's always penalties for those
