If you are in this situation you would probably consider two options, one option being suffering in pain and the other option would be to wish that you are painlessly relieved of your pain and seek the choice of Euthanasia. When talking about Euthanasia you should consider the quality of life being not how long you live, but considering the kind of life you lived. This excerpt means that the doctor must remember to have sympathy and understanding and that even though some people in society may not agree with all medical methods they must continue to treat every patient with the care they wish to receive and that doing what the patient wants outweighs treatment. So using this in my argument if a patient is terminally ill and wishes to be Euthanized instead of continuing treatment, then the doctor must fulfill this duty if the patient qualifies and really wants to have this done. Even if the patients' family disagrees with this choice the doctor must fulfill his obligation to his or her patient.
