‘Euthanasia is a moral right one has in this world. Opponents argue that the right to die does not exist and therefore cannot be claimed, yet the right to die is also a right in a legal sense. It is a right which should exist in New Zealand, either specifically or derived from other rights such as from the right to life. Important values such as self-determintation, individual empowerment, bodily integrity and the right to control end-of-life decision making has been supported since the 1960’s by human and civil rights movements.’ These movements really stand for something, and for the basis of what euthanasia means to be in amongst it all, really stands out to me as being something that has a prupose and that can change many lives for the
