There are many benefits to having one universal language that all Americans can understand. The savings in revenue, to all levels of government and the private sector, is abundantly clear. As a member of the military, it is clear that we should use one universal language that all service members can speak and understand. Therefore, if we have personnel who do not understand the orders and guidance that is given by our superiors and leadership, then we will have lost our bearing and that could lead to grave consequences.
