Should Employers Be Paid To Work?

Blisters, calluses, pain, and swelling are all consequences of wearing heels. Yet some employers require woman to wear heels. For example, Nicola Thorp, a receptionist, was told by her employer that she must wear heels to work, she refused, arguing that it would impair her from doing her job. When she was sent home, without pay for her incompliance, she began a petition stating that allowing companies to force women to such policies were sexist. Does a woman’s footwear make her work more efficiently or is it simply a requirement for some for their visual appeal?
Furthermore, it is allowed for employers to have dress code restrictions if it is relevant to their job and doesn’t demand more of either gender. So, an employer asking an employee
