Should dropout age be raised?
Dropout and it will be a cop out then you’ll never know what life is really about. Dropout age should be raised because high school dropouts can’t get a good job, kids should have a longer high school experience and kids need a better education.
Dropout age should be raised because you can’t get a good job as a high school dropout. Around 25% of high school students do not finish high school and graduate on time. The amount of high school dropouts there are in a year is crazy and that is one of the main reasons why our society sucks and crazy things are always happening. About 75% of high school dropouts end up committing a crime and going to jail. If there was less high school dropouts then there would not be as many crimes being committed and our society would be better. About 1.2 million people dropout per year, that is 1 student every 26 seconds. There are a lot of people in the world that don't know much and they are homeless. Raising the dropout age can help keep people off the streets and keep people busy doing good things. High school dropouts get about 1 million dollars less than a college graduate and about $200,000 less than a high school graduate. With dropout age getting raised would make people actually want to finish school and they would have a better life with a good job and good house. If you don’t dropout of high school then you would have more money to live the life of your dreams.
The society sucks because almost half the world drops out of high school at a young age and they don’t have the education they need. Most people think that school is just a waste of time and that they don’t have to go. In all reality school is really important and people don’t see it. When people drop out and become homeless, they start to regret dropping out and try to go back but, it is not the same as it would be if they would have stayed in school.
