Some people believe that the driving age should remain sixteen instead of being raised to eighteen. Many adults would agree that the driving age should remain the same age at sixteen. However, others say that the driving age should be raised to eighteen instead of sixteen. I believe that the driving age should be raised to eighteen because eighteen year olds are more responsible, eighteen year olds brains are more developed than a sixteen year old, and eighteen year olds are at less of a risk than a sixteen year old.
Many people think that sixteen and eighteen year olds are equal in the amount of responsibility. Eighteen year old’s are more responsible than sixteen year olds. The reason eighteen year olds are more responsible is they have

I definitely don’t think the minimum age should be raised. Sixteen is more than old enough for a mature person to drive a car. If the person is not mature or they can’t drive well enough, then they don’t pass the test, no matter how old they are. I think we should do this because there are some kids that aren’t sixteen are mature…

Growing up most kids can’t wait until they turn sixteen so they can get their driver license. It’s even a dream to most teens and to take that away would be a world of terror. After reading both articles “Should the Driving Age Be Raised to 18?” and “Do Teens Need Graduated Licenses?” I can explain the different opinions on why teens shouldn’t get a license or drive at sixteen and if teens should go though a program called “Graduated Driver License” to keep lives safe and reduce car accidents yearly.…

Becoming a teen comes with a lot of desires and needs. One major desire when becoming a teen and going into high school is to get your license, but unfortunately, you have to wait a couple of years to be able to legally drive. While it could cause parents a lot of worry, the driving age should be lowered to the age of fifteen because it would create more money for state governments, it could teach teens financial responsibility, and would allow more training and education for young drivers. The first reason that the driving age should be reduced to the age of fifteen is because many teens want to be involved in extracurricular activities, like sports and clubs.…

One reason the driving age should be raised is because countless teens are involved in accidents every year. To begin with a 2017 article approaching the topic of current percentages of teen car wrecks. In 2015, teens, ages 16-19 were killed due to a car accident putting them in emergency departments for medical care. They then looked at numbers and found that 2,333 teens were killed in the U.S. and 221,313 were in critical care in 2014. This means that six teens ages 16-19 died every day from motor vehicle injuries.…

"Any bad day can be fixed by drivin' a backroad with the radio up and the windows down. - Unknown" People may argue that the legal driving age for people should be 18 rather than the long lasting limit of 16. The age limit of 16 is the perfect age for driving. It allows students in high school to do as they please. This also allows the parents an enormous break from driving their children and all of their friends around. Also, it gives them the freedom they never had.…

Most to all teens can’t wait until the day they turn sixteen. They gain more freedom, space, and best of all, being able to drive. It gives them the ability to go where they want and by themselves, without the shadowing of their parent. Although seemingly non-dangerous, some teenagers may take advantage of this privilege, which proves a significant point that the driving age should be raised.…

Every teenagers dream is to drive and be on there own, but is the age limit to drive right. Driving can be dangerous when people get in a serious wrecks. My opinion the age limit to start driving, which is 16 to 18, is the best option. The driving age should stay the same, 16 to 18, because teens start driving and get use to it, start to be responsible, and don’t have to ask their parents for a ride to school and specific places. Teens need to start driving and get use to it before they get out in the real world.…
