Should Donald Trump Be President?

Why Trump Should Be President
The presidential election has been narrowed down to two candidates; Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. I believe Hillary Clinton to be completely unfit for president due to her numerous scandals and underlying health issues. I also believe Trump has great policies regarding trade, immigration, taxes and foreign relations. Trump is a patriot and an example of the American dream, for these reasons and for his proposed policies, I believe Donald Trump to be the best presidential candidate in the race for the Whitehouse.

When it comes to the criticization of these candidates, it is usually narrowed down to what Trump has said and what Hillary has done and actions speak louder than words. While Hillary was a part of the Obama administration she denied military backup to Benghazi during the attack (Benntet, 2012). And she has shown a great disregard to national security by sending and receiving classified emails through her own personal email server (Koran, 2016).

Donald Trump is what America needs. Trump is a patriot; he has always had a strong passion for the country, on Oprah in 1988 he was asked if he would ever run for president, Trump said “I do get tired of seeing what’s happening with this country, and if it got so bad I would never

The border patrol endorsed Trump because of his strong immigration plan, Trump’s tax plan cuts taxes the most for the middle class out of all the original Presidential candidates, and his Trade plan has been praised by experts (Swoyer, 2016). Millions of dollars will be saved and illegal immigration will be heavily deterred after the wall is completed. His trade plan will create new jobs in America and will boost the economy. Trumps tax plan helps the middle class which will help many American families and with families with more spending money left over after taxes it will put more money into the economy (Fontaine,

As the 2016 election approaches, the presidential candidates and citizens await the decision of who will be the next leader of the United States of America. Donald Trump, a republican candidate, should not be elected president due to his immigration policy. After reading the book Just Like Us, by Helen Thorpe, Donald Trump is surely the wrong candidate. The immigration policy of Donald trump, is not a feasible and realistic policy. The policy will not move our nation forward in the quest to repair an increasingly conflict-ridden immigration system because his policy is racist, he plans to deport millions of people, and it is simply unrealistic.…

Donald Trump should not be president for the year 2016. First of all, what amazingly beneficial things will he do for America? He is a republican; he cares not for America and all of her citizens but for money and if he becomes president America will be ruined. Trump is not a man with the experience of war, or being in charge of a whole country and all the people in it, but a man of business and economy. Also if he is elected for the leader of our country, and if he has the generosity, he could get all of the citizens of America out of debt.…

Trump believes that illegal immigration is destroying U.S. taxpayers, and he believes that neither Republicans nor Democrats are helping the situation. Republicans don’t do anything about illegal immigration because some of their business supporters want cheap labor. Democrats look at illegal immigrants as potential Democratic voters (135-136). Both Democrats and Republicans may have their reasons for illegal immigrants to stay, but Donald Trump thinks that the parties need to put America’s interests first and that illegal immigrants need to return from whence they came. Trump then continues to discuss that illegal immigrants are by definition, lawbreakers, and refers to them as “illegal aliens” due to the fact that illegal immigrants are often members or violent gangs.…

Some might say that Donald Trump could be a better candidate as he is very experienced in business which could be very helpful in running the economy, whereas Bernie Sanders is not. However, Donald Trump has filed for bankruptcy four times, therefore it would be risky to count on him not to damage the economy. Sanders would likely be able to avoid mistakes like this with the advice of other people such as his cabinet. Some might also argue that Ted Cruz would make a better president as some of his issues includes securing borders and changing the immigration policy. However, this would cause problems with many families as they might be separated.…
