USA Today, has 41 states that don't require students to learn cursive writing. I only learned to write cursive in 3rd grade and we didn’t learn very much. In my opinion I strongly believe that cursive writing should still be in school. Cursive was a valuable skill that was taught in school. Kids like me try to practice to get our letters perfect. Most kids only learn to write their name and not much else. Cursive seems to be disappearing from schools and all of our lives. But giving up cursive is a mistake. With each new technology, we move forward, but we also leave somethings behind. First of all, Cursive was a valuable skill that was taught in school.
