If the college were not to be taken advantage of by many than it would cause the countries economy to drop due to funding colleges that are wasting there funding on students who will never use their degree and employment rates in high end jobs would also drop. With less people working there will be less money that the government can get causing the economy to drop. If the economy were to drop then they would not be able to support free college and everything will have been for nothing. If the Government were to implement this than the people in the United States would be potentially a lot smarter as a whole. With access to as much information as the college holds people would be able to learn almost anything they want to know more about and they wouldn't even have to pay for the information. It could cause the worlds industrialization rates to increase with all the intelligent people the colleges would be helping to create. This would mean that technology, architecture, chemistry, and biology/ genetics would all advance at a much more rapid pace than they are
