Do you think college level athletes should gain compensation for playing in the sport they would like to pursue? Well, college athletes bring a huge benefit to the table while they truly don't gain anything out of it for themselves. College sports are a multi-billion dollar industry, with television contracts, merchandise sales, and ticket revenue driving the financial gain through the roof. They're making money off these kids, and the kids are busting their tail while everyone else has their hands out taking all the money. So hell yeah they should be paid, for sure” (Marshall 10).
