I’ve been given the chance to meet all kinds of people, to travel and expand my financial capabilities, to get ideas and learn about life, to create a world apart from basketball”-(Michael Jordan). Also like what Michael Jordan said too, if you’re playing a sport and you want to get into the pro sports you don’t know what kind of opportunities are going to be available for the stage of the pro athlete. I think college athletes should get paid for playing the sport they love to play.
“Some people think that if the players can bargain over their working conditions, they will want to be paid, just as professional athletes are. This may change college sports forever”-(Fred Brown). " What she fails to mention is that most of these things that the athletes receive only cover a small portion of the actual whole cost of living and learning, and being sheltered, and traveling; the list could go on.…

This is crazy because all these players get so many extra things provided to them already so why should they need to get paid.
