Should Coed Teams Be Co-Ed?

Decent Essays
I think the teams should be co-ed because then the athletes would get a harder competition specially women as usually men have more muscle then women which shows that men have more chances of winning. This gives women a chance of proving women empowerment. And this would give the audience more entertainment and a better look at which athlete's the best as both gender's are combined in the sports.

The co-ed teams would also show us if opposite genders as a pair would work better or not compared to same gender pairs. Women can also prove people wrong as people think that men are stronger then women and that women cannot compete men in any sport but as an example we can see sports such as badminton and tennis which clearly show us that women

How fair can it get for girls to play on boys sport teams. Maybe because it’s not a law, everyone can play, so many other girls are playing on the same team as boys. It was never a law that girls have to play the “girl sports,” boys play the “boy sports.” In the article Should Girls be Allowed to Play on Boy’s Sport Teams? They stated that if the best of the best WNBA team goes against the worst NBA team, that the NBA team would crush the best WNBA team.…

The quote “Girls can’t play sports” just got reversed. Women all over the world are making history, Billie Jean King effected women all over the world and the WNBA showed us that women will fight for what they believe is right. Should women be allowed to play on male sports teams? I think that women shouldn't be allowed to because of safety requirements, and sexaul harassment which would both be a big issue. First of all, male sports are aggressive and safety would be hard to avoid. They would have a high risk of injury, concussion rates in the last year have rose over 20%.There are many different kinds of injuries you can suffer while playing a male sport like you can overheat and pass out, you can tear your ACL or MCL or you could even overuse your body and strain it. Injuries are very hard to avoid and a male's body is built to take a lot more than a girls so our injury rates would increase if the females joined our team because the males are 30% stronger than females which means we have more muscle to protect us from injury.…

    1. If all athletes do it wouldn’t that make it fair? It is assumed that many athletes already take/ use performance enhancing drugs regardless of their illegal status therefore if we make it legal I would assume that majority of athletes would take advantage of the situation and participate in legal doping, then it would make the competition fair because all performance enhancing drugs are available to the athletes as well as the most elite equipment and sporting gear too. 2. Athletes would be able to compete in mixed gender races.…

The sport all together is the same. Everyone plays by the same rules and restrictions, but there’s just too much of a difference between the genders in sports. Men and women have different playing styles and they do not mix well. They have been separated for a very long time and they should remain that way for many of the reasons that I have listed above. There will always be women that can beat men in their respected sports and vise versa, but the game is setup the way it should remain for women to play competitive against women and men to play against other…

My main goal is to shape young people into disciples filled with Bible knowledge and to help send them out in the world to witness to the unsaved. I plan to do this by combining the discipleship model and the ministry model talked about by Richard R. Dunn in his book, “Reaching A Generation For Christ”. He states that the philosophy of the discipleship model as, “The discipleship model trains students to be God’s people in an ungodly world, equipped with Bible study and prayer skills developed in a caring atmosphere with a view to reproducing their Christian lives in other” (175). This philosophy would be fulfilled by small groups or “trainings” held on a weekly basis. I would like to keep a very close, relational youth group.…

The sports world also needs to start recognizing the talent women have and not just the appearance of them. In most of the sports women play the uniforms reveal much more skin than in male sports. Women’s talents are often over looked more than their natural talents to play specific sports. Another reason women have a hard time playing male dominated sports is because people feel the women will be a distraction to the men. Women are often considered that they must look beautiful in order to play certain sports.…

Although women are ‘known’ for being feminine and soft, yet they can be good at sports. Nowadays in the 20th century, female discrimination continues to spread through the American society. Discrimination of women in sports has increased over the years causing several effects on them; developing numerous psychological problems, developing health problems, and changing their physical appearance.
