Should Children Be Restricted

Why should children be restricted from spending time in front of media screens? I beleive there are multiple reason why children shouldn't be spending to much time on media screen. Children in the United States have a average of 7.5 hours of screen time per day.Despiting the long-standing guidelines from American Academy of Pediatrics sudjesting that children older 2 years only should have 1-2 hours per day while, younger have no screen time. Experts have stated in the passage TV watching isn't good for children. Media, games and TV's are a big destraction. It takes a mental and physical toll on kids.
