Should children be initiated to technology since their younger age ?
Nowadays, technology has an essential place in our lives, whether it is in term of information, education or social life. Consequently, children are initiated to technologies increasingly early. And this fact brings the question of the consequences of this early connection to a cyber world on children growth. So in this essay we will ask ourselves about whether or not it is good to let children use technology since their younger age.
First of all, we will wonder if technologies can help with their education. Then we will study the social behavior of children generated by the digital world and finally we will talk about the dangers created by this new world.

To carry on with the social part, it’s obvious that growing up, more and more children are attracted by social networks to keep in touch with their friends and family but are they aware of the exposure they put themselves in ? On the internet, nothing can prevent underage kids to create accounts on social networks if they lie on their age, but those kids are more likely to have inappropriate use of the tool and share contents or do things that can harm them. Because the interface is fictitious does not mean it has no consequences on the real world. This is especially true for the following example of video games and the violence some contains. At what age does a kid really understand what’s acceptable and what’s not ? A lot of violent video games are addictive and it can make a child think that violent behaviours can be acceptable, because youth also means vulnerability and impressionability
The dangers of technology are real, and it’s especially true for children and teenagers who needs supervision in order to create their own critical sense and then judge by themselves what’s right and what’s wrong in order not to harm themeselves or the people around
