Should Chewing Gum Be Allowed At School?

Chewing gum is probably one of the most purchased items in America, but should chewing gum be allowed at schools? In my opinion, Chewing gum shouldn’t be allowed in schools. My first reason why I believe chewing gum shouldn’t be allowed in schools is because it causes, “Excessive Gas.” In the article it states, “Even though chewing gum might be helpful for weight loss, it also might lead to stomach discomfort. According to studies, chewing gum may cause belching and gas.” My second reason is, chewing gum causes, “disruption.” The author states, “The passing around of packets leads to reduced concentration levels.
