A person can be called a hero by helping when they are not asked to do so, being brave or taking action when they need to. For example in cartoons or movies Batman would be considered a hero because he is the protector of Gotham city. My little sister Jocelyn would not be considered a hero because she hasn’t helped anyone from harm or hasn’t done something out of the ordinary to make it extraordinary. She hasn’t changed the world in some way that will help the world be a better place. Another person that would not be considered a hero is me. I wouldn’t be considered a hero because I haven’t helped anyone or have been pulled out of my ordinary world.
What I learned while I was writing this essay was that just because you save someone doesn’t mean you will be a hero. If I save a girl from from falling down they wouldn’t say “ ohh my gosh thank you, you are my hero.” To be a hero you have to help people when you are not a asked you take action before anything worse can happen. To be a hero once you do something extraordinary out of the ordinary you face challenges that will pull you out of the ordinary world and pull you into the special world.
