Party, drink, sleep, and repeat. That is the typical stereotype for students as they begin to embark on their own journey towards a career that they are interested in pursing. Many parents weep with praise as they watch as their sons and daughters graduate from high school transitioning into a different mindset as they enter the college universe. For other students, this change of scenery is very fearful and crucial in how they live deeming their moral values in deciding what is right and wrong. Attending college means more than just partying. Most people attend college to find their purpose in life. Not only by creating life long relationships with other individuals, but to flourish in an environment where they are able to receive growth in an educational setting. It is very crucial for me to not only attend college but to successfully complete college with a degree in Pulmonary Nursing. My parents put college in my head first from day one that I need to go to college, that it is not an option. I believe that even if my parents did not push me to go I would still enjoy the experience of attending college and receiving a college education. The Nursing and medical field has always fascinated me from a young age. I grew up asthmatic so I spent my share of time in hospitals getting tests done and trying different medicine to get my breathing better.
