Athletes make millions of dollars every year. That is more money than most people will ever make in their life. And they play games they do nothing else but play games that is kinda ridiculous. Do are citizens that save others not deserve this kinda pay? Their are people that risk their lives everyday and do not make near as much. As an athlete makes per year. That is not right, but our society thinks otherwise. Something needs to change we can not continue paying people that much money. Others say that they believe athletes should get this much money. The reasoning is that they have a short career. But they could get paid half of what they do and still be set for life. They say injurers are another reason, but still they do not need the
