As we can see in the NFL each and every player gets a different salary that is usually base on your performance, or your future career. For example, Tom Brady, the New England Patriots quarterback, is one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and is obviously making way more than a rookie quarterback, or a backup. Unfortunately, this system is not going to work in college athletics (Griffin). This kind of goes with scholarships, when one athlete finds out that another athlete is getting a better scholarship, they tend to get upset, which will be the same affect with giving them a salary. Not to mention, how we are even going to afford it when the programs are spending the money just as fast has it comes in. We cannot just take it from other programs, just think of the affects that would have on not only the school, but for students who came here for an education, rather than just sports. We need to open our eyes and looking at the bigger picture here and let everything soak in. Look how amazing college sports are now, without the pay of college athletes. Do we really want to take that way, and ruin the fun of upsets, and all the blood, sweat, and tears that these smaller schools go through already to compete with the bigger name schools such as Alabama? In the end, it is not worth paying these college athletes, there is going to be nothing but flaws and corruption with the system. With that being said, join the argument, and pick the side to not pay our college
