Assisted suicide should be legalized
Assisted suicide is another kind of suicide which is committed with the help of someone and most especially done by doctors. Assisted suicide is when a doctor assist a patient to commit suicide through counselling, prescribing drugs. Assisted suicide hasn’t been legalized in most countries because they see it has a wrong thing to do because a doctor is rather to save lives not assist people to kill themselves. In fact I think assisted suicide should be legalized.
First of all, the first reason why assisted suicide should be legalized is because the patient’s tremendous amount of pain and suffering will end. Assisted suicide should be legal, because that is what the patient wants. What if it relieves them from their pains? What if they can’t cry anymore from the pain? I think people can choose what they want to do with their lives as long as it doesn’t harm others, so helping kill someone is even though it doesn’t sound well is definitely okay. Since you are not the one doing the killing or the brain behind the death, you can’t get in trouble for it. There is no good reason for it not to be legal.
Finally, the reason why assisted suicide should be legalized is because health costs can be reduced. Assisted suicide in one way or another helps to cut down cost of money spent on a patient at the hospital. Sometimes people become indebted or broke due to the reason of a family member or loved one long stay in the hospital. Sometimes patients are asked to buy drugs which are so much expensive and they are also being monitored by machines which increases the cost too.
