How Should Animals Be Used In Medical Research

Many people have varying opinions on whether or not animals should be used in medical research. Now thinking about this topic, I have had a varying of opinions myself and the fact is without these animals medical research could only go so long without these animals to test, because in all honesty there aren’t a ton of humans that want to be a test subject unless it’s a last resort to survive. The use of animals in medical research isn’t necessarily sought to be cruel and/or unusual punishment for the furry critters but some people protest the use of these animals because of the shear fact the believe it to be cruel treatment of the animals. It’s hard to calculate just how many animals are used in research for medicine but it is said that the …show more content…
The hardest things that people have to digest are that the test subjects are animals. Well I’m going out further and saying that at long as the pain of the animal is justified reasonably (which I’m sure almost all are) then it is acceptable. I’m sorry, but this world has never been beautiful in this respect, it has been survivalist; and any effects of cruelty towards animals are 'right ' by the reasoning of a survivalist. With all the science supporting that these animals are either bred for research are taken from the animal shelter, nothing terribly wrong is going on. Figure both pain and awareness correlate, and while I would not know where to draw precise lines and haven’t seen anyone else draw precise lines, I would certainly place the higher animals on the list. I might add, consciousness is not seen as some single ability which you have or do not but a scaled development I don 't mean to be finagling it off so ungraciously, I have not specifically looked for such evidence and have no idea how one could prove it with non-verbal subjects, such as animals. While I might add that these animals aren’t specifically used with the intentions of being mistreated, people often have the fight that they are being mistreated and are suffering. Throughout everything that has been said in history animals are a key point to discovering new technologies and new vaccines along with new ways to treat medical disorders. The only thing that is really precise judgment is the fact that many claims that the animals are in cruelly treated; while it is understandable that people believe the animals are cruelly mistreated the problem still remains. If we take animals out of research what are these new medical researches going to be tested on? How will they ensure that 's the only way they test the advance in medicine? The answer is still yet unclear, without the animals I know one thing will be very evident. We could not have made the medical advances that we have today, without animal research. Regardless
