Introduction: An estimated twenty six million animals are used every year in the United States for scientific and commercial testing. Animals should not be used for scientific or commercial testing because animal testing is cruel and inhumane, animals make poor test subjects, and animals’ rights are violated.

A.Animal testing has contributed to many life saving cures and treatments, animals have short life cycles, and religious traditions allow humans to be dominant over animals.
