When animals are tested at different times than the humans are which is common, it will take longer periods of time to compare the results between the two models. Each animal’s immune system is different and works in its own way according to its biological model. The comparasins of the model gives little or no help to the benefits of research ( Cynthia, 33). For example, a certain type of primate is not affected by the HIV virus, but the human’s immune system gets destroyed overtime by the same virus. There is only a slight difference between the models. Each animal has its own unique reaction to its own environment and adapts in its own way which makes the testing and experimentation more complicated and difficult to predict in a …show more content…
Animal testing has been one of the main sources for testing and experimentation since they have comparable genetic makeup and organ functions. Research has been unfavored due to cases within the research that showed different replications of disease between human and animal biological models. Each human has his or her reaction to different types of substances similar to the same animal having its own reaction to the same compound. There are complications and invalidations within the research, but the evidence proves that the complications are within the low funding from the government and replications from rare genetic diseases. With the advancement of technology and research obtained within the last few decades, scientists now have an advantage in developing new ways of treating humans with the research of different types of
