How does it help you once you can finally make your own choices? It doesn’t at all. Instead, it makes it to where you will always feel the need to depend on someone else. It will make you not be able to ever make it on your own, especially when it comes to making your own serious medical decisions. But on the other hand ifIt you would have been able to make your own decisions at 15 it would have given you more knowledge on it, and you could have then worked your way up from that point rather than just being put out on your own completely at 18 and making it so devastating to yourself when you finally have no choice about making your own decisions. It’s my body, not any adults. I’m the only one who knows how I feel at times, and If i’m in pain then i’m the only one feeling the pain so why should another person make the decision for me? Many parents do not agree on much, so if my parent was to disagree and make a choice for me that I don’t agree with then i’m stuck living with whatever my parents decide on and that isn’t right. I should be able to fully make my own medical decisions without the approval of a parent or guardian, since the fact that it’s my body and i’m the one who has to live
