Should Abortion Be Restricted Analysis

The problem that is being addressed is should abortion be restricted? According to Senator Marco Rubio abortion is detrimental to American society morally, economically, and politically. First, from a moral perspective many religions condemn the practice of abortions because life is given by the Creator and it should be respected. Second, from an economic point of view there are millions of contributions to the world that will never happen because the unborn weren’t given a chance fulfill their dreams. The last reason is politically, life is a fundamental right and a woman should not have the right to refuse it to her unborn child. On the contrary, Texas Representative Wendy Davis attempted to persuade the Texas Senate why the governor should not sign a restrictive abortion policy. She believed that the fetus removed in many abortions are not considered a person and that women must retain the right to make decisions about their bodies. Another con of this solution is the financial responsibility for implementing more programs, and public advertising. Despite raising awareness to deter behaviors that result in pregnancy, it may be very expensive. One last con may be that women(girls) who are raped may become afraid to report the crime and charge the perpetrator. The pros of this solution would be that women who cannot have an abortion are not out of options. For women who do not want to keep their child adoption agencies will become acquainted with the women to help them with the process. For women who want to go through adoption but may not live in a safe environment during their pregnancy would have the option of living in a safe house for her protection until she gives birth. Lastly, for the woman who decides that she would like to keep her child, counselors will be in place to guide her in the best direction for her
