There is absolutely no reason to have an abortion unless it is going to result in the death of both the mother and child. People today are just getting abortions because they …show more content…

The babies need a group like the Pro-Life advocates fighting for their lives because the babies are helpless alone. Abortion is morally wrong. It causes physical and psychological problems. It could ultimately result in death, if something goes wrong. The debate about abortion is one that will never go away until someone takes a stand for life. Once the egg becomes fertilized, the fetus then has a heartbeat and doing something to end that heartbeat is essentially ending the child’s life. Unborn babies are considered human beings by the US government, so they should be treated as such. There are multiple other reasons that people side with Pro Life, such as the exhausted list of people who can not have children, and are waiting on a list for someone to be willing to give them theirs, but it happens too often that instead of someone giving their unwanted baby to someone who desperately wants it, they choose to abort it. Another reason that many people side with Pro Life is the fact that pregnancy is controllable except in certain cases such as rape. There is a multitude of options available to control pregnancy, and many people simply are simply careless and later use abortion as their own form of birth control such as the fact that “9.3% of abortions reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 2011 were undergone by women who had three or more previous abortions”…
