Abortion: Should Abortion be Illegal?

The abortion rates in America are out of control. Research shows that 1.4 million abortions happen a year (4). Also according to studies during the roe v. wade trial (1973-2011) 53 million abortions were performed (4). This means that several babies in those years never got to live life or at least get a chance to see how the world was, they didn’t even get to take their first breath. Although most people die during child birth than abortion abortions can still be unhealthy therefore they should be illegal.
