Should A-State Football Players Be Allowed To Wear Uniforms

The A-State football players should have been allowed to wear the crosses only if they bought them and placed them on their helmets themselves. Also, no school official should support nor discourage them wearing the crosses. The players who choose to wear them should wear them because they wanted to and were not coerced by any student nor school official. According to the American Civil Liberty Union website in regards to religion in schools students have to the right to say prayer in school, reference religion in assignments, and wear religious affiliated clothing. The rules to this is that they cannot be disruptive, force a fellow student to listen to a religious service, or try to persuade a fellow student to believe in their religion. The
