Water, the most essential nutrient for life. Without it the most basic lifeforms couldn’t exist, much less humans. For citizens of Fountain Colorado it’s imperative that we begin to find solutions for the tragedy that has plagued this region of Colorado. There isn’t a definitive reason for the water crisis that has recently struck Fountain Colorado, but there’s plenty of finger pointing from all parties involved such as health departments, local military, utility companies and even city officials themselves aren’t willing to take responsibility. Although these officials have taken precautionary measures to mitigate damage to human life such as shutting off seven city water valves there still isn’t enough action being taken to directly affect…

Around sixty-seven percent of the people across the country believe schools should offer only nutritious drinks, such as white milk, water, and natural fruit juice, to students. I strongly agree that adding nutritious beverages to school lunches is a logical and reasonable idea. During the 18th century, France possessed the colony known to them as Saint Domingue, an island in the Caribbean Sea. Possessing valuable resources and optimal conditions for growing expensive crops such as sugar, France dedicated much of their money into this little island, allowing Saint Domingue to become the wealthiest colony in this time period. However, the Haitian slaves revolted against the French colonial rulers, resulting in the first complete successful slave rebellion in history. However, the cost of the war, natural disasters, and a French "independence tax" crippled the former colony, leading to an almost instantaneous decline in the country's wealth and prosperity. Today, Haiti has the shameful title of the poorest country…

Water is necessary for life, and clean drinking water is essential. Many people believe that bottled water is better for you than tap water. I think that tap water is better because bottled water is bad for the environment, it is less economical, and the toxins used in plastic water bottles are dangerous for our health. To begin with, tap water is better than bottled water because it is safer for the environment. When somebody drinks a glass of water and they use tap water they would usually use a glass and then just have to wash it.…
