One dark winter day my father ran into my room and awoke me. He said “Boy you better get outside and feed them dogs it’s fixing to come a bad snow storm”. I lyed in bed a while and finally got up. The room was very cold as I got into the kitchen I got the dog food and walked outside it was bitterly cold and it was starting to snow. I walked across the yard and to the dog pens I opened the gate and fed all the dogs. I liked one more dog to feed his name was Shorty. Shorty was a feisty mean Begal one of the best dogs we have. I opened the door to the cage and out and turned around and the dog wasn’t there. I looked off in the woods and there was the dog running in the woods.
