It was a very quiet day and the birds ceased to fly. The sun was beaming and the sky was clear. There was an odd sense and feeling lingering through the air and on the faces of the passing town people. Not one normal town person was aware that there were people constructing a plan regarding the death of Caesar, the most beloved person.
The city was filled with both the rich and the poor. However, one quiet citizen stood out to many. Lius, a poor, old man lived in a dark alley near the Center Square. He loved Caesar. Their friendship was like the sound of little raindrops tickling the skin as they fall from the sky. Their friendship was like the ocean when it’s silent and calm. Their friendship was the most beautiful rainbow. Yet, everything does come to an end. Raindrops turn into storms. The calm oceans has violent, crashing waves. Brutus knew that he loved Rome more, he cared more for Rome than his best friend.
Cassius contemplated. He saw Brutus’ indecisiveness as a chance to get Brutus in his plan to kill Caesar. He knew that Brutus loved Caesar but he loved Rome and it’s people more. He had an idea.
That night Cassius stayed up until dawn forging worried letters from the people of Rome. They expressed their concern about Caesar ruling. Cassius then simply slipped the letters under Brutus’ door in hopes that these would convince him to kill Caesar.
The next day, Brutus finds the letters in his house that were written and forged by Cassius. He loved Rome, and at that point made up his mind. He was to join Cassius and kill Caesar, his best friend, for the good of Rome.
