Goldie the Cougar is the official mascot of the Louisville Golden Cougars football team. He makes his appearance at all sporting events for the Cougars wearing the team’s jersey with number 00. Goldie is founder and president of the Cougar Den Club for kids. Goldie involves himself in civic and other events around the city. Goldie works in and off season to keep fans at high levels of excitement. When Goldie is on the prowl the crowd never knows what he’ll do next.
Goldie is really considered an athlete himself, running around the field, being acrobatic doing push up every time the team scores can be really exciting and exerting. Goldie will be creating many memorable moments as he and the Cougars move forward. GO COUGARS!!!
