Short Story: W. H. Treason's House

There were four kids and they all wanted to go into a 1800’s mansion that was onced was owned by a rich guy named W.H. Treason. Only the main section of the house stands because it had a huge fire and that’s what killed the owner. The parts of the fired were sealed off. He owned thousands of slaves and made them do everything.
Now as the kids enter the house they wonder if it was a mistake. They try to get out and it seems the house is haunted. “Did you hear that noise?”, one of the four kids said. They heard the owner haunts the house but they didn't think it was true. One of the kids bumps into a switch and it opens a hidden basement door. “Should we go down there. It looks creepy?”

It was a train and a ghoul that came out of nowhere pushed them in front of it and they all closed their eyes ready to accept their fate. They open their eyes and they were outside. They were saved, but how? Was it all a dream? They saw thousands of people behind what was left from the fire of the mansion. But, they were all in shock and didn’t very think about it, right away. “What just happened?”
“Was I dreaming?”
No, because I think we just went through the same thing.”
“Hey, I don’t know what just happened, but I’m going home and never doing anything like this again!”
“Hey, what’s that noise? It’s behind the mansion.” They go back and see thousands of ghostly slaves walking away into horse carriages and very few into cars. They go up to one of them and try to talk to the spirit. It was like it wasn’t even there and does it own thing. Was it the slaves that burned down the mansion? All they heard from was from one ghost and he said, “You four heroes saved us from the owner and freed our souls” . What had happened in there? All they remember was waking up outside. They now know to be more careful, and now will always wonder what happened in the
