Improved Essays
Once upon a time there was a girl named Ashley who lived in California with her mom and siblings. She had one older sister, Ava, who was very popular, and a younger brother named Noah. She was picked on at school each and every day. Ugly Ashley, that’s what all the kids had called her at her school, they called her this because she looked nothing like her parents or sibling, she was also very pale for a girl who had lived in such a sunny place.

One day Ashley got home, kicked her sneakers off in the mud room, stormed up to her room, slammed the door shut and slatted her stuff on her bed. She fell over into a slump and cried. About twenty minutes later, after she calmed down, she grabbed her notebook and started to write, but not just any

She sat down next to a woman who was in her twenties at the time. The women looked at her and said, “Aren't you too young to be on this train by yourself?”
Ashley then explained what was going on and why she was on the train alone.
“Well if you don't have anywhere to stay, then I might just have to take you in myself.” She said, with a grin on her face.
The woman's name was Maggie; she had seven kids, but they weren't exactly hers. These kids were also like Ashley, they all got picked on, and they all just wanted to be liked and “normal”.
Once Ashley got to Maggie's house, Ashley realized she wasn’t the only kid there. There were seven other kids there, they were tall, short, brown haired, blue eyed, green eyed, freckles, no freckles.Maggie gave Ashley a tour of the house and introduced her to everyone there, but Ashley's favorite part of the tour was that she got her own room! The next day Ashley made friends with a girl named Kylie and she gave her a tour of the neighborhood, Ashley also got to meet Kylie's friends that lived right down the

~Ten years later~
Ashley was twenty-nine when she went back to visit her parents in her hometown.When she had gotten there, they didn't even recognize her! She was tan, tall, but she still didn't look like her parents, but she didn't care about that because while she was living with Maggie, she realized that she didn't need to look like anyone in her family to be beautiful.
Ashley's parents were happy to see that she was ok, and they told her how worried they were. Ashley had a little bit of suspicion because if they were worried about her then why didn't they come looking for her? But she was going to put that behind her now because that wasn't important.
On Ashley's drive home, she felt good at going back to see her parents, and finally had the chance to tell them she was ok, even if they cared or not.

Ashley is now working in the modeling business with Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid. Her best friend Kylie is still her partner in crime, and her ride or die. Ashley has taken Maggies last name, Graham, and considers her a mom. She hasn't heard for her real parents since she visited them. Ashley friend Kylie also started her own line of makeup, and guess who modeled it;
