The story that resonated with me the most was The Pink Stuffed Teddy Bear. In my perception, this was a perfect example of a transportation story that successfully achieved juxtaposing the persistent and the liminal. As I first began reading the story, I was immediately transported to an airport. I was able to be transported when author said “we all recognize this person in airports…” because I have been to the airport many times, so I was able to mentally categorize all the types of people that I have seen. She goes on to describe a businessman, and just like the author I formed a negative opinion of him. Oh another grumpy businessman who only cared about himself.
