“The snow was high, the sky was blue, the Christmas decorations were set, and I was ready too.” They applauded for ‘Joyful Jamie,’ a second grader with a big heart and imagination. It was Christmas Eve and they were all at the fire sharing poems, stories, and -- only Grandpa -- Greek myths. All unaware that something, sooner or later, was going to come out of the chimney with a cacophonous sound.
“Ok,” Grandpa says. “It is time for a holiday tradition,” he says, resting his elbows on his upper legs. “You haven’t told them yet, have you Jill?” Grandpa says to his daughter with a smile.
“No paps, of course we haven’t! We wouldn’t tell them the story without you!” she laughs.

A beautiful ornament that says Believe pops rolls off of their logs and onto their living room floor. On the ornament, a painting of a girl elf pops up on the ornament.
Then, after a few minutes, Poke-poke, poke-poke.
“Yes mama?” Jamie says.
“Hehehe, I’m not your ‘mama’, I’m here to take you and your brother to Believe!” the someone says.
“Really! Oh my gosh!” Jamie says getting out of her bed to wake Jackson up. “Jackson, it’s Jamie, there is a person here to take us to Believe.”
“Go back to sleep Jamie,” Jackson turns his body the other way. “We have to be asleep if we want to be taken to-- did u say BELIEVE! Someone is here to take us to Believe!” He jumps out of his bed and puts on his slippers. “I believe a lot! I promise! I promise!” Jackson screams.
“I know that, why else would we pick you Jackson!” the someone says.
Jackson covers his mouth, “Oops,” he whispers “I have been so loud! I’m probably woke them up!”
“Don’t worry Jackson, everything I do, you do, and your sister does know one else can hear it!” the person says. “We’ve had some problems before until so we had to make it sound proof realizing every child’s reactions are loud,” the person laughs.
