Concept
To me, the concept works very well. I like the fact that the main character is more that what she seems to be, and since she is going to move to new places, I can see it going for multiple seasons. Characters I like the twist that Carrie turns out to be a murder. Her violent past is what makes her interesting. I am not sure how do the Javier and Twitch’s characters affect the plot of the stalker. Are the audience going to suspect them as the stalkers at one point? The World
Like the characters, the world is not what it seems to be. It’s a interesting contrast between the idea of Oklahoma being boring and Carrie’s violent past in Oklahoma.

Characters
I like the fact that there are some diversities in racial representations. Man of God sounds really interesting, and I like to know more about him. I notice that Sam has two daughters, but only Becca is the important character. I would like to know more about her sister. The World
The small town setting in the 80s is really interesting. It is great to the religious tension and racial tension specific to that time period. Episodic Pull
The episodic pulls in the show are about the cult. I think the fact that the church answers to the government has the potential to expand into another season. Also, Becca’s ability to be possessed would be something keeps me watching.
What could be stronger, different or better in some way? I like the fact that the protagonist is African American, but I do see some underlying problems with having an African American character practices pseudo science on other people. I think that it questions the legitimacy of our main character’s ability to practice medical science while he happens to be an African American. Some people may see it as a racial stereotype.
