Short Story Of Took

Took. This story is narrated by a young boy named Daniel. This story all starts out when Daniel and his little sister Erica dont want to move from Connecticut to West Virginia. Their parents were very wealthy and then their dad got laid off. They had to sell their house and move to a cheaper city. Erica and Daniel were not happy about this at all, so their mom bought Erica a doll to make up for the sudden change. She loved that doll more than she loved herself, she carried it around everywhere she went. She even named it Little Erica. When they arrived at their new home they weren’t impressed. The day went by very slow and finally their mom was their to pick them up and take them home. Day after day they went to school and back home but they started riding the bus. When weekends came around Daniel and his father would go out and explore the woods behind their house. They would walk down trails and one day Erica decided to tag along. Their dad always brought his camera to take pictures of nature. While they were walking one day they stumbled across a cabin. It was a very old cabin, clearly there was no life in it for years. They stopped and looked inside, then their dad took some pictures. The next day on their bus ride home from school Daniel, Erica, and some other kid were the only ones left on the bus. The kid walked up to them everyday and would tell them stories about how their house is cursed and how 50 years ago a girl named Selene went missing from there and never came back, but they never believed him. Erica. She was walking into the other side of the woods. So he followed her. She sat down under a tree and was clasping her doll. Then Daniel saw something and shouted at her to move. He picked her up, making her drop her doll, and ran home with her. She cried and begged to go get her doll and kept repeating that she would be gone tomorrow and we must go get it now. Her dad sent her to bed. The next day after school Daniel took Erica to look for the doll and she was gone. They soon began to argue and Daniel shoved Erica, making her run into the woods. He ran after her but she was gone. He walked home and waited for his parents to arrive so he could tell them what happened. They were furious. They called the police and sent search parties into the woods to find her. Days turned into weeks and still no sign of Erica. Daniels parents began to drink and smoke and were losing sleep. Daniel had to do something. He talked to the kid on the bus, his name was Brody. He asked him what he could do to find his sister. Brody didn’t say much. Daniel decided to look for Erica on his own. He checked the cabin first but she wasn’t there. But he saw a different
