Burning lava seared Kara’s chestnut flip flops. Kara and her atrocious little brother Jayden, scurried to go find the only hope for New York. Aunt Barbara. Kara did not feel certain about the choices she made to rescue, Aunt Barbara.
With her voice dripping in tears, she spoke, “Jayden what if Aunt Barbara doesn’t remember us? Or what will she look like?”
They both then glanced at the rustic and dainty fort. Jayden hushed Kara as a signal not awake any demons.
Moments after, Kara and Jayden enter, and were greeted by two people. Aunt Barbara and this tall teenage boy with silky hair and azure eyes. He wore all black and sat tall like an heiress. There was only one person that would fit this description. Luke. Kara’s crush.
“Kara is this your boyfriend!” exclaimed Jayden, then shrunk away from Kara’s flying hand.

“Jayden go find your aunt.” commanded Luke.
Luke sprinted to go find Kara. The sobs of became louder and Luke knew he was closer. A warm, welcoming hand fell on Kara’s shoulders. Luke hugged her. Kara skittered back to Aunt Barbara and pleaded that she please go home and save new York.
“Yes.” disappointment filled Aunt Barbara’s eyes.
Aunt Barbara and Jayden hurried to find Kara and Luke. All four of them found each other. Scampering across lost souls and dead bodies suddenly rose a ginormous figure growling at the wind. He fumed and charged like an angry bull. Kara could hear the footsteps of doom nearing right before she went through that portal. Goosebumps shot up her back. A crimson colored demon appeared. It was Knifehead, the demon she had fought before.
“Stay back everyone, this is about to get ugly.” Kara sputtered.
Kara yanked out her sword with grace.
“You haven’t seen the last of me you filthy rat.” Knifehead furiously
