Months of meticulous planning had gone into the party of the year.

A world renowned DJ with a playlist that was carefully selected to fit the taste of any group of fifteen year old rich post-millennials. Five of the best catering companies in the Los Angeles area hired to serve guests. Decorations that would put any Hollywood set production to shame. And goodie baskets that were filled to the brim with all of the latest and greatest must haves of the year.

Everything was planned thoroughly. No expense over looked. All of Priscilla Vanderwaale’s desires brought to life, as per usual, every one of her whims and wants was executed instantly and with expertise by her doting parents.

Birthdays were always special in the Vanderwaale home but they held even more importance for the last couple or so. Her annual birthday bonanza being the only time during the school year that her peers set aside their vicious vendetta against her, to celebrate her instead.

And how could she not in this custom Giorgio Armani dress that hugged her figure in all of the right places and hid the parts of her that she didn’t like? It fluttered around her like a blooming flower whenever she spun and the blonde couldn’t remember a time in the last three years were she felt this B E A U T I F U L. Anticipation and excitement for her party ran through her veins and colored her cheeks a natural rosy pink. A genuine smile warming her dull features as she thought of the fun to come.
