Short Story Of Isabella-Personal Narrative

It was a dark and chilly November night. Victoria, Isabella, and their mom were in the kitchen cooking juicy, thick pork chops. There was a delightful, enticing, heavenly aroma coming from the oven. They went upstairs to wait for the oven to ring.
Suddenly, it started to smell dusty, and smoke started appearing. Bright, orange flames were starting to circle around them. They were trapped! They felt as if they were going to melt! Victoria was quick-witted and thought they could climb out the window. A split second later, they rapidly unlocked the latch and tentatively climbed out.
It was like rock climbing down the house, step by step, brick by brick. Their hands weren’t gripped right. They were petrified, their hearts were beating out of their chests! They finally reached the ground in exhaustion. The house was disintegrating more and more each second. Outside was gloomy and faint, it was intensely cold.

The siren sound became louder and closer. A loud shriek came from Isabella; she got the attention immediately. They realized she had fallen when they had climbed down. Victoria and her mom rushed over to Isabella in worry.
When the ambulance and fire truck finally arrived, Isabella was rushed to the hospital. The doctors found out she had an arrhythmia. There were a million things going through Isabella’s head. She thought that right now her life was like a timer; every second counted, just waiting for her time to run out. Victoria and her mom waited, worried, and hoped she would be all right. Her doctor eventually came out and told them Isabella would need surgery. A bolt of worry crossed both of their minds. Victoria and their mom were lost in thoughts of what would happen. The story ends here with Isabella in good health—for now. . .

My most valuable possession was my house. It wasn’t anything fancy or exquisite, but it was there that I had spent the precious moments, however few, with my beloved dad. I remember that we would spend hours playing, running around the arched, brightly lit corridors. On either side, I recall the large mahogany doors which would fluidly open to reveal ancient, chestnut-brown rooms with antique, twin bed frames which were confined within. I will never forget the uncanny gargoyles that were suspended onto the wall behind, the very same monsters who would assault my sleep and curse me with countless numbers of sleepless nights.…
