Short Story Of Cole Matthews

Cole Matthews utilizes his anger in a form of aggression against anything that gets in his way. He violently attacks his classmate Peter Dirscal, causing physical harm affecting him for the rest of his life. “You're a dead man.” (7) He took his criminal streak too far when he viciously beat Peter onto the floor of their schools’ sidewalk. After a close encounter with death, Cole finds out the truth about his anger and where it come from. As Cole sits motionless from the attack of the Spirit Bear with blood everywhere, he is alone with nobody to care for him. “Now he was living his worst nightmare.” (71) He learns that his anger forms from no control over others.
