Chippy’s Christmas
It was Christmas Eve and Mr. and Mrs. McBaster were getting ready to go see their parents in New Orleans. “Chippy! We will be gone for a while. Please look after baby Ashley. Okay.” said Mrs. McBaster.
Ashley was laying in her beautiful crib with violet spirals and pretty pink dots. Chippy walked over to her crib and Ashley climbed out of it onto Chippy’s fluffy black fur.
She clutched his fur tight and she troggled down the stairs to the den. Laying in the den, there was a giant Christmas tree decorated with amazing red, yellow, purple, and blue ornaments. Ashley jumped up and down on Chippy’s back and Chippy walked into the den.

Then Ashley saw some beautiful lights ahead. She wanted Chippy to go to the lights. When they arrived there, there was a toy shop with amazing and fun toys. Chippy walked on in and the clerk of the store said, CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!!!!! You are our 1,000 customer entering the store! You win this Christmas basket!” Chippy grabbed the basket with his mouth and scooted away from the store.
Next, Chippy and Ashley ran into a guy dressed up like Santa Claus. There was a sign next to him that said, “Help the Needy This Christmas.” Ashley had a pretty blue polka dotted snow hat on her head. She took it off and gave it to the guy dressed up like Santa. “Thank you very much!” said the guy dressed up like Santa. Chippy saw it was getting late and thought that they should start heading home. On their way home, something got their attention and they distracted by some carolers. Ashley loved their singing. Even Chippy did.
The carolers were singing Deck the Halls. Chippy started barking along to the song. After that, they saw some kids through a window. They were sitting by a fire. Then the kids looked up the chimney. Chippy and Ashley wondered why the kids were looking up the
