Title: Milo’s Miracle

Milo looked up at the sky.
It was a hot, clear day with the boiling sun blazing down.
He wished to be selling lemonade at a stand or riding his bike down the street with the other kids. Instead, he was getting water from the well.

Milo and his mother were not very rich. As matter of fact, they were poor, with very little money. Milo did chores all around the house helping his Mother as much as he could.
His Mother was usually working hard doing different jobs to make money.

Milo was pulling the slippery sloppy water up from the wishing well. The well scratched his arm very hard. Suddenly a burst of crazy pain ran through his arm, crying in pain Milo started screaming and crying. His arm hurt so much almost feeling

Milo told her all about his day and how this stranger named Opi helped him make sure he was okay. Milo was so glad that the kind stranger did such a thing.

The next day when his mother told Milo she had a day off of work he decided to take her to Opi’s house so she could meet him. Walking down the dusty dirty path Milo thought of all the things he was so happy to have in life. Some of those included his clothes and his amazing mother.

When Milo and his mother arrived at Opis house he was delighted to see Milo again and meet his mom. “Come in, and take a seat. It's great to have other people in the house.” said Opi. The 3 then continued to talk for a long time, while eating some delicious sugar cookies Opi had made for them. Milo and his mother got up a couple hours later thanking him for the cookies and his kindness. Him and his mother then continued home walking back under the cotton candy coloured sky.

The next day his fairy-godmother appeared.
“It’s your special day, I will grant you one and one wish only” his fairy godmother exclaimed. “Thank you, thank you” ”My one wish it to get two money trees planted, one for my family and one for Opi in his house, for he helped me greatly the other day,” Milo

Although Oedipus considered fate to be real, he had more confidence in his own knowledge and achievements to control his future. Also, Oedipus’ dependence on himself made his purpose and insight the best way to establish all of his decisions. A heavy sigh echoed though the small dank space, followed by a low humorless laugh. Oliver carefully shifted his precarious footing in the soft muck beneath the dark murky water, grimacing as the mud oozed deeper into his boots. He raised his eyes toward the circle of dim light a mere five feet beyond his reach. His eyes lowered to study the wall of algae covered green stones that lined the well shaft…well that had lined most of the shaft. An angry scar of exposed red clay marred a large portion of the wall above where he had attempted to climb out nearly a half hour earlier, the missing stones lost somewhere in the ice cold water below.…

John L. Severance Fund (Fund, n.d)wrote a brief description of the artwork. Briefly, he said that the central figure in the painting was a strangely looking figure where the mouth is covered up by clustered ants and the bulging eyes are sealed, which represent the frustration of being in a dream where the senses are not operating. There are several people involved in this painting, excluding the strange figure. At the very left of the painting, a man with a bleeding face and amputated foot is spotted. This man could be a reference to the Myth of Oedipus, who killed his own father and had sexual relationship with his mother.…

Perrault version of Cinderella Vs the Grimm brothers’ version of Cinderella. “Fairy tale” is the term also used to describe something containing unusual happiness, like “fairy tale ending” a happing ending, or “fairy tale romance”, though not all fairy tales have a happy ending. According to Arthur Schlesinger, classical tales “tell children what they unconsciously know-that human nature is not innately good, that conflict is real, that life is harsh before it is, happy-and thereby reassure them about their own fears and their own sense of self” (229). Despite the fact that both Perrault and the Grimm brothers versions of Cinderella are fundamentally similar to each other, but the differences between them show two different moral universes.…
