In the short story, Jared by David is about a boy named Jared in high school that has gotten into an accident in a family barbecue. One day Jared had an accident and it went like this, Jared was trying to save the hot dogs but when Jared reached for the hot dogs his elbow hit one of the gas cans, it tipped over and burned half of Jared's face.Jared had surgery and medical care for the accident that had to happen and because of that Jared had decided to switch schools because he did not want any of his Friends to laugh at him or make fun of him and things only got worse.Know that he had switch schools and nobody knew him or a single thing about him, everybody always said mean things behind his back about his face but Jared had help from a friend
