Short Story: East High Basketball Team

February 5: Before the last minutes of the game, East high Wildcats kept closely behind the Central Bears with fewer than a 5 point difference. Played in the gymnasium of East High School, Central won 44-36.
A star player of Central High basketball team, Gunnison says, “They played us tough and stayed with us throughout, but we were able to get by them.” Explaining that his teams opponents had been “a scrappy team” Gunnison says, “I don’t remember having this much trouble with them before. Still, we were able to pull it out.”
“Gunnison did the job tonight.” stated Coach Turner, “Tonight was his night.”
February 12: Central, with a noble loss of 54-52 against the Midvale Astronauts, had started their game off strong, with 32-22 at halftime.
